About MINSK[]
MINSK is a contract bridge bidding system based around aggressive openings that vary based on position.
In 1st/2nd seat we use a Strong Club (16+ HCP ) and a Mini No-Trump ( [9]10-12 HCP) to facilitate opening all 10+ HCP hands.
In 3rd/4th seat we revert to a Goren style (potentially short 1C) where opening bids at all levels are wide ranging and frequently focus on destruction/lead direction.
Minsk was developed in Adelaide around 2000 and the current version of the system is developed and played by William Jenner-O'shea and Mike Doecke.
